    Hi Manfred,

Unfortunately all the templates show pages in the navigation, and there is no option to add anchors to it.

The easiest solution would be hiding the navigation widget. You can do this on any template by hovering over the widget and clicking on the eye icon. (To bring the hidden content back you should click on the eye icon that is on the top blue bar). For this solution I would go for any template with a central navigation such as Lorah, Wellness, Cache or Skater.

Alternatively, if you have some coding knowledge, you could add a text widget (which will be used for a stand-in navigation), where you can manually create the anchors using HTML links.

In any case, be aware that all the widgets in the header area (navigation, logo, company name and feature) can be hidden, but you cannot add anything to that area. Widgets can be added only to the area below the header.

For example, if you wanted to replace the navigation at the top of the page with a text widget, you would need to hide all the widgets in the header and then add text and image widgets to create your design. If you decide to go this route, the best templates are probably Broad, Snowden, Signed and Protocol.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards,

    Marta

    Hello,

Unfortunately it is still not possible to have a website with two languages, apart from using the solution suggested above. However we are committed to developing a multi-language tool for the editor.

    Hello Ruben,

We have added a fix for the slideshow, please check whether it is alright. If you are happy with it you just need to ‘publish’ your site again to update the published version.

    Hello Firestarter,

I’m afraid you cannot change the name of a widget in the editor.

If you are building a template from scratch you could wrap the embed widget with a div and name it. If you are using one of our templates and using the editor to populate it, you can only name the content you are adding to the embed widget.

    Hi,

I’ve tested v7.87 of the TDK and the images are working fine for me, could you send us a zip file of your template so we can test it on our working TDK?

You can send it to my email: marta.gonzalez@basekit.com

    Hi bgbrillo,

I’m afraid you cannot change the classes in widgets, although you could add a class with JS.

    Hi bgbrillo,

Could you tell us what version of the TDK you are using? You can find this out in the TDK tool bar next to the BK icon.

    Marta

    Hi bgbrillo,

Thank you for your enquiry. The code you are using for the logo is correct. What directory are your images in?

The image set in the logo widget should be in the template in the images folder (http://docs.basekit.com/widgets/v2/logo/ )

    Kind Regards,

    Marta

Marta Gonzalez posted in Trivia theme problem.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your message. The reason you cannot see the head background picture repeated in all pages is that it has been removed from the template. In the latest version of Trivia that feature was replaced with a page title widget. We have just updated the sample site (http://trivia.basekit.com/ )

We have uploaded a custom Trivia template for you that works as the original version so you can have the same image repeated in all pages as in the original version.

If you check your site in the editor you will be able to see the change and, if you are happy with it, just need to re-publish the site.

    Cheers,

    Marta
